Lynda Tongue has been Managing Partner of Triangle Partnership since 1991.  She has delivered training programmes in organisations across public and private sectors and has run literally hundreds of workshops.

This mentoring scheme for trainers and coaches offers an opportunity for practitioners to develop their skills and learn some TA concepts and theories in depth.

It will also give them a psychological framework to underpin their professional and personal practice.

The Triangle TA Practitioner Award (TTAPA) is gained by attending TTAG workshops.
  • Participants choose when they are ready to be assessed on one of the concepts.
  • The assessment consists of either delivering a 30 minute presentation on the concept, or leading a 30 minute discussion.
  • The requirement for the Award is 12 successful assessments. Alongside these assessments, 10 supervision hours are required, which can be achieved during the training workshops.

By attending TTAG workshops, taking part in discussions, group supervisions, small group exercises etc the practitioner will have an opportunity to broaden and deepen their TA knowledge.  This will increase confidence, as competence develops.

They will also have the guidance of Lynda Tongue as a mentor who will support them as they learn and then develop their TA skills and application.
TTAPA info pdf
Mentoring scheme in brief:
  • Attend TTAG workshops to learn the TA theory and application
  • undertake pre-workshop reading and preparation
  • complete 12 successful assessments - a choice of presentation or leading a discussion
  • accrue 10 supervision hours
TTAG workshops
The workshops will be a mixture of theory underpinning, and supervision.   Assessments will be conducted when the participant is ready.
TA supervision
The tools of TA will be used to give feedback and to support the participant to gain a “superVision” of their practice etc.  Supervision will also be used for their own development as a trainer and/or coach, and to increase their confidence around the theory.
Certificates will be awarded once the observed practice sessions have been completed successfully.
