Triangle Partnership and Lynda Tongue provide training, professional supervision, coaching and similar services through workshops, webinars, one-to-one and group sessions online and in various locations. We also provide supporting materials and assessment on the basis of various professional qualifications.
Our Finance Partner Mike Tongue is our data controller and data control officer and we pay personal attention as to how we maintain information about those who contact us. We sometimes send out mailings such as newsletters etc, and for these we use a reputable mailing service that requires opt in.
Our websites are hosted by Weebly Inc and cookies are used to collect the usual types of visitor information for analysis. You can set your browser not to accept these, although some websites will then not function completely. Weebly’s privacy policy is available at https://www.weebly.com/privacy.
We process information by storing it within reputable CRM systems. We do not provide any information about our contacts to any other organisations or individuals except where this is required for the award of qualifications by professional bodies or universities.
Our lawful basis for maintaining records is as defined in the Information Commissioner’s Office (2018): “Contract: the processing is necessary for a contract you have with the individual, or because they have asked you to take specific steps before entering into a contract.” (p.13).
Our intended purposes for maintaining records include:
Information kept by us includes, where relevant and known, the following within our database: name, email address(es), address details, telephone and/or other contact details, status relating to qualifications we offer, assessment services provided, fees agreed, and sometimes notes of conversations that remind us of our discussions with you about current and potential services.
In protected electronic files, we may keep notes which are necessary to provide a contracted service (such as coaching, professional supervision and/or sponsorship) to you or to progress your stated interest in our services. These may include special category data and criminal offence details only insofar as these are relevant to the contracted service being provided and only when such details have been provided by you.
We also store audio recordings of professional sessions conducted with you, only after you have confirmed agreement to being recorded. These are stored under codes and full access to your own recordings is provided. Audio recordings of group activities such as supervisions, are made available only to those engaged during the session.
